In accordance with Saint Mary’s College of California policy:
- Freshmen who matriculate at the college are eligible for four years of Saint Mary’s aid.
- Transferring students will have their eligibility determined based on their year of entry. For example, a student transferring in as a sophomore will have three years of eligibility, as a junior will have two years, and so forth.
- Cal Grant is available for a maximum of four years per eligibility determined by the California Student Aid Commission (CSAC). Therefore, students who continue enrollment after four years will only be considered for federal aid (Pell Grant and student loans) based on lifetime aggregate limits.
