About

In La Frontera / Borderlands, Gloria Anzaldúa mixes Spanish, English, and Nahuatl to explore gender, culture and language through a post-colonial lens. The results are radical and academic, poetic and political. This workshop mirrors the author’s creative approach, inviting dialogue with her text and among ourselves. We’ll reflect on our own experiences, asking: How have the “struggles of identities and of borders” evolved? And what challenges persist?
