Women Warriors: Facing the Canon

Seminar Enrichment Series

Part presentation and part discussion, this student-to-student program explores the difficult topics of gender- and power-based violence in Seminar texts, with a specific focus on Kingston’s No Name Woman. Together we’ll reflect on cultural differences, gender roles, and complex portrayals of women, asking how students and faculty might respond to these charged depictions in the Seminar classroom.
