The Global Saint Mary’s College Community Celebrates the Spirit of Giving with ‘One Day One SMC’

Gaels everywhere turn their attention today to the spirit of generosity with Saint Mary’s College of California's signature “One Day One SMC” event, an opportunity to give to the institution, inspire others to do so, and demonstrate support for current and future Gael students. Every gift counts—and every gift makes a difference.

“We continue to build a tradition of community involvement in One Day One SMC, and these giving days are always a positive, uplifting experience for participating campus and community members,” wrote Provost Corey Cook, Vice President for Mission Frances Sweeney, and Vice President for Strategic Partnerships and Advancement Patrick Carew in a message to the campus. 

One Day One SMC brings together donors, supporters, and advocates to help strengthen the resources needed to build and sustain the College’s mission-driven programs.

How to Participate

An important feature of One Day One SMC is the ability to give to specific areas of Saint Mary’s. Supporters can direct a gift toward the SMC Fund, Scholarships, community programs, student experience initiatives, Gael Athletics, and more. 

Supporters can look for One Day One SMC social posts throughout the day and can engage with those efforts as a way to spread the word and draw attention to the initiative.

We’re partnering with today’s Lasallian Heritage Days kickoff—as well as the Center for International Programs’ Global Fair—with a barbecue and food truck bonanza.
