Reporting Lost Property

To report lost property to Campus Safety, please visit the Front Gate or call (925) 631-4282.

Required Information:

  • Name
  • Daytime phone number/email address
  • Description of the lost item

 

Picking Up Lost Property

Found items are kept at the Front Gate until the following business morning.  Common locations where items are frequently left but later taken to the Front Gate include the Library and Recreation Center.  Any property not claimed within 90 days will be disposed of according to College policy and State law.  For inquiries about lost items, please visit the Front Gate (available 24/7) or the Campus Safety Administrative Office in Assumption Hall, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Faculty, staff, and student identification cards are returned to the Business Office / Campus Housing after an attempt to contact the owner.

 

Items Accepted

The Campus Safety Department accepts most found items to ensure their safekeeping and return to the rightful owner whenever possible.  Found items are logged, labeled, and efforts are made to return them if ownership can be verified.

 

Items Not Accepted

The Department does not accept articles of clothing or water bottles.
