Isidro Farias joined Saint Mary’s College as Vice President of Facilities Services in February 2023. Farias is responsible for Operations & Maintenance, Facilities Planning, Design & Construction, Environmental Health & Safety, Meetings, Events & Conference Services.

He is a licensed architect with over 12 years of higher education experience. Most recently, Isidro served as the Director of Capital Projects at the College of Marin where he was responsible for the oversight of a $265 million capital project bond program while leveraging public/private partnership opportunities. Prior to that, he served as the Director of Facilities Planning at the California Maritime Academy.

He started his higher education career at UC Berkley where his last position was as Trades Manager. Isidro is a lifelong resident of California and a first-generation college graduate. He attended California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo, where he earned a Bachelor of Architecture and earned a Master of Architecture from UC Berkeley. He and his wife of 22 years are proudly raising two young children. He enjoys traveling abroad with his family and volunteering in his community.
