Ceclia's SMC story
I’m a senior, double-majoring in Integral and Justice, Community, and Leadership, and am preparing to become an elementary school teacher.
This year, I’m student-teaching at the elementary school I attended as a child. When I look at my students, I see my younger self in these same classrooms. I want to inspire in them a lifelong love of learning and strong self-esteem.
At Saint Mary’s, my confidence has grown alongside my education. Professors challenge me to think more deeply, classmates support one another, and there’s a real sense of belonging on campus. It’s a place where I feel greeted, recognized, and encouraged.
