Food Recovery Network
Body
Saint Mary's food recovery program aims at tackling the dual issues of food waste and food access. The program recovers perishable food that would otherwise go to waste from our campus’ dining hall and donating it to local nonprofit organizations. Our goal is to change the norm from food waste to food recovery. This program is currently on hold due to COVID-19.

Food Recovery Network
Each week, students come together with our food service staff to box up untouched, leftover food from Oliver Dining Hall for people and organizations in the surrounding area. The Food Recovery program would not be possible without the collaboration and partnership with local organizations.
