Withdrawal

Students planning to withdraw from a Saint Mary's College Graduate Business program must formally notify their Program Director and Academic Services.

Based on the date of request, the tuition refund schedule below will be applied. The Refund Schedule listed on the Tuition Schedule is provided to every student upon enrollment. 

 

Tuition Refund Schedule

  • Week Withdrawal: Amount Refunded (% of term's tuition)
  • By the first day of term: 100% 
  • Weeks 1 and 2 (by Sunday of week 2 at midnight): 80%
  • Week 3 of term (by Sunday of week 3 at midnight): 60%
  • Weeks 4 and beyond: 0% 

A tuition refund is only available for courses dropped within the add/drop period (First 7 days of the term)

Grading

 If a student withdraws from a course during the “Add/Drop Period”, they will not receive a “W” or letter grade on their transcripts. Please refer to the Academic Calendar for the Add/Drop Period Deadline.

If a student withdraws after week 3, and prior to the withdrawal without penalty deadline, the student will be issued a grade of “W” for the course. Please refer to the Academic calendar with the dates to Withdrawal without penalty deadline.
