About
The Saint Mary's campus and the wider community are invited to join us for a lunch-time showing of Green Book in the SMC Llibrary. Inspired by a true story, the film follows a tour through the Deep South in 1962 by pianist Don Shirley—played by Oscar-winning actor and SMC alum Mahershala Ali ’96.
Bring your lunch, watch the film, relax, and engage in a discussion led by Associate Vice President/Senior Diversity Officer Dr. Terri Jett about the film and the plight of Black Americans from the Civil War onward.
