About
Opinions are easy; but to answer well the enduring questions about what it means to be human, we need philosophy. This workshop will introduce varied approaches used by ancient and modern philosophers to think through fundamental human questions. Then, in open dialogue, we’ll practice applying their tools to current issues. For example: Does human life have a purpose? How can we humans live in community? Should humans freely use animals and other life forms, or artificial agents like AI?
