About
You're invited to join Saint Mary's MFA in Creative Writing for our second Virtual Information Session of 2023! This time, Chris Feliciano Arnold, Program Director, will be taking an in-depth look into the process of choosing the best writing sample for your MFA application. While the other materials included in your application will give admissions committees a good sense of you as an overall person, choosing a writing sample that's representative of you and your work is arguably the most important aspect of getting into a program that will help you grow as a writer. We look forward to sharing anecdotes, tips, and general advice about making the most out of this extremely important element of the MFA application process.
While we'll often speak specifically to the program here at SMC, we hope that this session will be informative and beneficial for anyone who's looking to pursue an MFA in Creative Writing.
Saint Mary's Virtual Information Sessions are designed to give prospective students the opportunity to connect directly with our faculty, staff, and students in a smaller environment. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with the program directly and our Director of Admissions, Collin Skeen, will also be on hand to answer any questions about the application process. Our Priority/International deadline for new cohorts beginning in Fall 2024 is Friday, December 15th, 2023 while our final, General deadline is Friday, February 2nd, 2024. Check out our Admissions page for more details!
Register above for this event and a link to our Zoom portal will be emailed to you with your confirmation.
