Keynote Address by Dr. Jiménez: 1-2:30 pm

Short break: 2:45-3pm

Workshop session 3-4:30

Dr. Maribel Jiménez will share her research findings about strategic planning for Hispanic Serving Institutions and ‘servingness’ including the steps to strategic planning for moving toward ‘servingness’ (which is a multidimensional and conceptual way to understand what it means to move from simply enrolling Latinx students to actually serving them). Participants will better understand the importance of aspects of strategic planning that will keep folks aligned, connected, and moving forward to centering the experiences of Latinx students at Hispanic Serving Institutions. This event is open to all faculty, staff, and students.
