About

Karl Marx began an important world conversation about the rights and future of laborers. Soon after, the Catholic Church also began to publish on the plight of the ordinary worker. Faculty scholars place these two perspectives in dialogue, exploring the “lines of conversation“ between Marx’s Communist Manifesto and the Church’s Gaudium et Spes around human dignity, global community, and economic principles.
