Judith Hermis
Professional Overview
Bio: Professor Judith Hermis holds a Ph.D. in Accounting from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado, Boulder and a B.Sc. in Accounting and Finance from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia. Professor Hermis is a professor in the Accounting Department in the School of Economics and Business Administration at Saint Mary's College of California. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Accounting Association. Her research interests include the role of accounting information in the government contracting process and fiscal responsibility. She teaches governmental and not-for-profit accounting, managerial accounting, and applied research for doctoral students. Her personal interests include weightlifting, travel, cooking, and the arts.
