Body

The Kalmanovitz School Education at Saint Mary’s College of California is a top graduate school in the Bay Area to offer credential, master’s, and doctorate degree programs in counseling, leadership, and teacher education. We empower students to lead change according to the principles of social justice and the common good through shared inquiry, collaborative learning, and community engagement.

Our Mission

The KSOE is a student-centered learning community that inspires excellence and innovation in counseling, education, and leadership. Through the practice of shared inquiry, collaborative learning, and community engagement, we empower our students to lead change according to the principles of social justice and the common good.

Our Vision

The KSOE is committed to fostering an accessible, student-centered learning community that co-creates a transformative education, welcoming students of all backgrounds. Our graduates will become visionary leaders in their respective fields, guided by our shared Lasallian values of social justice, respect for all persons, and quality education to create a more just and equitable world.

Our Community

KSOE Gaels are resilient, persistent, and motivated. We approach challenges with empathy, humanizing advocacy, compassion, and strength in the knowledge that we are an empowered community. We are here for a reason: to connect with amazing faculty, staff, students, alumni and community partners; bond with exceptional learners and leaders in our chosen fields; advance careers and expand horizons; and transform the social and professional spaces where we live and work. We belong here. We know the road ahead will not always be easy but we know that together in community we will navigate through change and achieve our vision. It’s what we do as members of the KSOE community.
