Saint Mary's vs. BYU Information & Resources
Men's Rugby will compete against BYU Cougars on April 20th at the Saint Mary's Stadium. Below is information for ticketing, stadium policies and fan behavior expectations. If you bring a dog you will not be allowed to enter and if you are found in the stadium with a dog, you will be asked to leave without a refund or permitted to re-enter.
Ticketing & Game Information
- Entrance Gate will open at 10:30am on April 20th, 2024
- Match will begin at 11:30am
- Spectators must check in at the ticketing gate to enter and have a ticket/pass to enter.
- SMC Students, Faculty & Staff must provide SMC ID card to enter.
- Tickets can be purchased in advance. Your smart device/Phone is required for digital tickets. Printed tickets will not be accepted.
- Screenshots of tickets are not permitted. Ticket holders must use the link provided by GoFan.
- Cash & Credit is available at the gate to purchase your ticket.
- Livestream of the game will be broadcasted through Gael Rugby YouTube
Stadium Policies
- Service Dogs Only. Emotional support pets/dogs are not permitted.
- No Large Coolers
- No Outside Alcohol
- Pop-up tents and large umbrellas are not permitted.
- Press Box is restricted to SMC Staff & Broadcasting personnel.
- Upper mid-section seats with backs are reserved for Men's Rugby Season Ticket Holders only. You will be asked to relocate if you are seated in this area.
- The player sideline area is restricted to approved personnel only.
If you bring a dog/pet into the facility, you will be asked to leave. No refunds & no return privilege.
Parking on Campus
- Gael Way & Soda Center parking lot will be closed.
- Visitor parking is available on campus from 07:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
- The Visitor parking rate is $0.50 per hour for a maximum of $5.00 per day, except during Special Events.
- Visitors can pay using their license plate at any of our pay stations or on their mobile devices with our parking app. Please refer to the Visitor Parking Map for regular visitor parking locations.
- Vehicles parked without a permit and/or in the incorrect lot will be subject to citation and towing. There is no Visitor parking on campus from 22:00 PM to 07:00 AM.
Spectator Behavior & Beer Garden
Saint Mary’s is committed to providing a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable atmosphere at athletic events. SMC Staff & Campus Safety will proactively intervene to support an environment where guests can enjoy the sporting event.
- Beer Garden for those over the age of 21.
- Anyone consuming or purchasing alcohol will be asked to show their ID if they appear youthful and possibly under the age of 21.
- Foul/abusive language or obscene gestures will not be tolerated.
- Any individual who is Intoxicated or shows other signs of impairment related to consumption of drugs and/or alcohol will be asked to leave.
- Refrain from displays of affection not appropriate in a family setting.
- Any disruption to the progress of the game by guest's action or unauthorized persons will result in dismissal from event.
