AAUW Offers HP Program Student Scholarships

The American Association of University Women’s Orinda-Moraga-Lafayette (AAUW-OML) branch will award three $1,000 scholarships to Saint Mary’s College women in the High Potential Program. These awards validate the leadership roles and accomplishments of exceptional young women who exhibit academic excellence and demonstrate a passion for community outreach and engagement.

The deadline to apply for the scholarship award is March 8, 2022. Students are encouraged to apply online at https://oml-ca.aauw.net/scholarships/.

Eligible students must meet the following criteria: 

High Potential Program woman student leader at Saint Mary’s College of California committed to community engagement.

  • A sophomore or junior woman who enriches their school community through extracurricular activities, advocating for traditionally underrepresented groups.

  • Seeks to break through educational and economic barriers so that all women and girls have a fair chance.
