With Hoops Season Around the Corner, Get Your First Look at the 2024–25 Gaels at the Annual Blue and White Game
The game on Saturday, October 12 offers a sneak peak at the Saint Mary's Men's Basketball squad—the defending West Coast Conference regular season and tournament champs. Admission is free and open to the community.
The long-awaited start of the 2024-25 Saint Mary's Men's Basketball season is about one month away, but fans can get a sneak peak at this year's Gael squad at the Blue and White Scrimmage, happening this Saturday at 5 p.m. Admission is free to this event, with doors opening 30 minutes before tip-off.
Come out and see returning WCC Player of the Year Augustas Marciulionis, WCC Defensive Player of the Year Mitchell Saxen, and the rest of the Gaels squad. Eyes are on SMC as they look to defend their 2024 West Coast Conference Regular Season and Tournament Titles.
Along with Marciulionis and Saxen, Gaels hoops veteran Luke Barrett will be back on the hardwood inside UCU Pavilion on Saturday. The Blue and White Scrimmage also offers a chance for the Gael faithful to get their first glimpse at the six new SMC hoopers added to this year's squad. Ashton Hardaway, a 6’8” sophomore who played for Memphis, and Paulius Murauskas, a 6’8” sophomore who played for Arizona, both come to Moraga with a year of collegiate play under their belts, while true freshmen Mikey Lewis, Joshua Dent, Oliver Faubert, and Liam Campbell all hope to dazzle their first time in front of a packed home court.
Don't miss this early opportunity to catch the Gaels in action before their home opener on November 4. Once again, admission is free and doors open at 4:30 p.m., 30 minutes before tip-off. Concessions will be available for purchase at the event.
