KSOE's Meg Honey Discusses Changes in Grading With KCBS
As students across California readjust to life in the classroom after more than a year of distance learning, some school districts across the state are adopting a new grading structure that eliminates D and F grades in an attempt to correct inequitable grading practices and support students who have fallen behind. Meg Honey, Adjunct Associate Professor in the Kalmanovitz School of Education at Saint Mary's, joined KCBS Radio anchor Rebecca Corral to discuss the change in philosophy along with broader efforts to modernize grading structures in education.
