Let’s Celebrate! Today is One Day One SMC—and the Beginning of Lasallian Heritage Days
We’re celebrating all that is Saint Mary’s. It’s a chance to support student scholarships, the College’s greatest needs, and programs that matter most to you.
Today is a special day of double celebration at Saint Mary’s. It’s a time for the SMC community to come together for One Day One SMC, our annual day of giving. And we begin more than a week of events honoring Lasallian Heritage Days. We kick off the celebration with a community barbecue at 11 a.m. on the Chapel Lawn. If you’re here on the Saint Mary’s campus, please join us!
Wherever members of the Saint Mary’s community are, today and tomorrow, students and alumni, faculty and friends, staff and parents, and supporters of Saint Mary’s everywhere are invited to take part in One Day One SMC. In recognition of the 10th anniversary of the first One Day One SMC, the day has been extended to 1,863 minutes (roughly 31 hours), with an ambitious goal of 1,863 total donors in honor of the College’s founding year. Together, we can achieve it!
How to Participate
- Make a gift to support student scholarships, the College’s greatest needs, or the program of your choice.
- Please share the good news of our giving day with your family and friends. Our One Day One SMC website makes it easy, and you can also watch for and share posts on our social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X (formerly Twitter).
By offering a gift to our student scholarships, the SMC Fund, Galloping Gaels, or any number of specific program areas, you’re supporting current and future generations of Gael students. Whether you give $5, $20, or more, every gift counts and makes a difference in bolstering our scholarship programs while building and sustaining other mission-driven activities.
Celebrating Generosity and Fellowship
Lasallian Heritage Days, which begins today and runs through April 28, draw our attention to this year’s focus on Lasallian Spirituality, which calls us to live with faith and zeal as one community dedicated to transforming lives through education. I encourage you to visit our Lasallian Heritage Days website, where you will find additional information and a list of scheduled events and activities.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you do for Saint Mary’s, and for considering this additional expression of generosity for SMC and its students.
Please join me for One Day One SMC and our Lasallian Heritage Days as we celebrate what makes Saint Mary’s a unique community of generosity and fellowship.
