Library Now Features EBSCO Art Source
Earlier this year the Library expanded its collection to include EBSCO Art Source, a comprehensive database for the study of art and architecture that will bolster an already formidable set of resources for SMC's creative scholars. Art Source includes more than 760 full-text journals (with 210 unique titles that have never before been available in any existing database), and 220 e-books.
Art Source also contains over 63,000 high-quality images which are searchable by subject, media, time period, style, and image type such as black and white, color, map, illustration, and more. Art Source has a broad variety of European titles published in their original languages, including French, Italian, German, Spanish, and Dutch, and it explores the realm of art to the fullest, with coverage of subjects like architectural history, costume design, landscape architecture, painting, textiles, and much, much more.
