Get online resources for your research:

  • "Ask Us" Library Chat: You can chat live with a reference librarian 7 days a week to ask questions about library resources or doing research. You can also make a Zoom appointment with the librarian for your subject.

  • Research Guides: Research Guides are a great place to start your research. Click on the department for your class (Business Administration, Education, Psychology, Chemistry, etc) to see the resources and research strategies your librarian recommends.

  • Remote Library Resources: We have 200,000 e-books, 100,000 streaming videos, and millions of online articles, so you can do research from anywhere.

  • SMC Library Pickup: You can pick up library books at the SMC Library, either inside during open hours or outside by appointment via contactless pickup. If you can’t get to campus, we can mail library books to your home. If there’s a book or article you need that the Library doesn’t have, you may be able to borrow it from another library; ask us how!

We look forward to seeing you, online and in person!
