Merry Christmas and Warmest Holiday Wishes
A message to the Saint Mary's Community
The Christmas season brings with it opportunities to join friends and family in celebration, gift exchange, and prayer. Christmas carols ring in our ears; colorful lights and ornaments treat us to visual delights; and crèches are displayed to remind us of what’s often called “the reason for the season.”
For me, this season carries special meaning as I connect with friends and family to pray in gratitude for the blessings in my life, enjoy a holiday beverage or meal, and pen season’s greetings to colleagues and former students.
This year, when peace seems to be an elusive dream in the world, my wish for you is that the season’s promises of joy and peace will be fulfilled in your homes and in your hearts. And may that peace and joy remain with you through the new year.
