Politics Prof. Patrizia Longo Awarded the Kailasa Om Award

"The vision of KAILASA is enlightened living for all of humanity which is rooted in the fundamental principle of Advaita or Oneness – the idea that all beings can live in peace and harmony, and that all human beings are equal and divine, and can reach their highest potential irrespective of their color, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, caste, creed or race.

This award ceremony is meant to recognize the work of various distinguished individuals whose work aligns with the mission of The Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism (SPH) Bhagavan Nithyananda. One of the goals very close to The SPH’s heart is to create a world in which women are honoured, respected and given access to leadership positions, as He believes that so much good would have happened to our human society if politics had been handed over to women. The SPH also strives to bridge gender gaps when it comes to education, in order to ensure that women can strive.

I submitted your nomination to our Council because I felt that your work, particularly how it relates to women in various fields, is very much aligned with The SPH’s mission and vision. "
