Assessment of student learning at Saint Mary's College is integrated in the program review process for the academic programs. Undergraduate Core Competencies and learning goals are assessed in the Core Curriculum and Signature Programs.

Academic Program Assessment
Assessment of student learning in academic programs are a substantive part of the program review. Each program is required to submit annual updates on assessment progress to the Program Review Committee (PRC).

- 100% of the Core Competencies have been assessed at least twice.
- 75% of Core learning outcomes have been assessed at least once.
***The old Core was in effect between 2012 and 2022. We adopted a new Core starting 2023.
