CampusFuel & Dining Flex Dollars

What is CampusFuel?
CampusFuel is your ticket to a more flexible dining experience. This option allows you to use your meal plan swipe (yes, the meal swipe that you would typically use at Oliver Hall) at the coffee shop and starting later in Fall 2024 also at the 1928 Pub and other dining locations.

When you order at the coffee shop (and soon the Pub) as usual, let the cashier know you're paying with ‘CampusFuel’ and your meal swipe will cover a certain amount of your purchase. If your purchase happens to be priced over what the meal swipe covers, you can pay the difference with flex dollars/board points or a credit card. However, keep in mind, if you use a meal swipe in Oliver Hall during a meal period, you won't be able to utilize a swipe from your meal plan at the Coffee Shop and vice versa.   This is a meal equivalencey.

Monday-Friday: Breakfast 7:30 AM – 10:30 AM | Lunch 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM | Dinner 4:45 PM – 8:00 PM | Saturday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM | Sunday: 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM **Saturday and Sunday location options and hours may vary*

Spending Limits
Enjoy $7.78 for breakfast, $8.40 for lunch, $10.65 for dinner, and $8.40 for Saturday brunch. Exceeded your limit? No problem! Cover the difference with credit card, flex cash, or board points.

In addition to various meal plans, you can also load flex dollars onto your SMC ID to use across our dining locations as well as select local restaurants and GrubHub (where you can link your Grubhub account to your ID to get free deliveries on orders of $18!).

If you are looking for something smaller than the 75 block plan, it could be a good idea to add flex dollars to your ID card in increments of $25 to use as a "swipe," where you'll receive discounted meals in Oliver Hall when compared to paying with a credit card/cash (see below).

You can add flex to supplement your meal plan as well, and self-loaded flex will remain on your ID card for as long as you're a student (unlike the board flex dollars that come with the 5/7 day meal plans).  

When you pay with Flex dollars instead of using cash or credit card you'll pay a reduced cost when dining at Oliver.
