Online MBA Frequently Asked Questions

Classes for the Online MBA start in the Fall Semester (August).

 

The Online MBA program can be completed in just 1 year.

Our courses are taught on a semester system, divided into two terms: A and B.

Each part of term lasts 8 weeks.

Yes, absolutely! You can work full-time while attending the Online MBA program. 

It is specifically designed for working professionals, and most participants successfully balance both full-time work and their studies.

The program is 100% online and asynchronous, allowing you to complete it without disrupting other parts of your life.

 

Application Deadlines: August 1st

Professional work experience: Professional work experience is preferred.

Academic Preparation: 3.0 GPA or greater.

Required Documentation:

  • Official transcripts of colleges or universities with a degree conferred (electronic copies preferred; please send to: smcadmit@stmarys-ca.edu)
  • A resume of relevant business experience (resume or CV)
  • One or more letters of recommendation
  • 30-45 minute interview with Program Director

Bachelor's Degree: Applicants must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. 

Submission of GRE or GMAT scores are optional. Speak with your Saint Mary's Program Advisor if you have any additional questions.

Our class sizes typically range from 10 to 25 students, ensuring a personalized and engaging learning experience. 

Yes, the Online MBA program is cohort-based. 

This means you will progress through the program with the same group of peers, fostering a strong sense of professional community and collaboration.

Yes, we offer scholarships for qualified candidates.

Financial Aid is also available. Graduate students are eligible for a variety of loans, including both subsidized and unsubsidized Federal Stafford Loans and the Graduate PLUS Loan. To discuss what options may be available to you please contact:
