FERPA: Your Education Records

This Act was previously known as the Buckley Amendment, and though you may still occasionally here this name, it is now frequently referred to simply as "FERPA."

FERPA has been designed to protect the privacy of education records as well as the information contained in them. FERPA sets forth rule regarding the type of information Saint Mary's can release publicly about its students as well as procedures for doing so.
